Study and Tuition
Private voice study at Sound Investment Voice is designed for adult singers and professional voice users who want focused, individualized work in a supportive and professional environment.

Lessons are tailored to each singer's goals, whether that involves stylistic development, vocal technique, audition preparation, or maintaining a healthy and reliable instrument for professional performance.
1
Lesson Format
Lessons are offered online and are structured to support both technical development and artistic growth.

A typical lesson may include:
• vocal warm-up and technique work
• stylistic coaching for musical theatre, jazz, cabaret, or traditional pop
• interpretation and phrasing
• microphone technique and performance preparation
• strategies for maintaining vocal stamina and vocal health

Each session is individualized to help you develop a voice that is expressive, flexible, and sustainable.
2
Tuition Model
Voice study at Sound Investment Voice is offered through a tuition-based model rather than hourly drop-in lessons.

This approach reflects the full scope of work that supports each student’s progress, including lesson time, individualized preparation, curated learning materials, and ongoing professional development.

Tuition supports:
• personalized lesson planning

Voice Lessons vs Voice Therapy
Private voice lessons at Sound Investment Voice are educational and performance-focused. Lessons may address vocal technique, stylistic development, repertoire, and strategies for maintaining a healthy and reliable singing voice.
Voice lessons are not medical or rehabilitative services and therefore are not eligible for health insurance reimbursement.

Singing voice therapy, when available in the future following completion of my clinical fellowship and licensure in speech-language pathology, will be a clinical service focused on the assessment and treatment of voice disorders. These services may involve collaboration with medical professionals and, depending on the situation, may be eligible for insurance coverage.

Voice therapy services are anticipated to become available beginning in Summer 2027 and will be offered separately from private voice study.
